Topography: 50 cm contours digitized from a field map produced with plane table and alidade by Vernon J. Knight, Jr., in 1993.  
Lowest contour: 45 m amsl.
Highest contour: 54.5 m amsl.
Positioning: based on aerial photogrammetry and field survey by University of Alabama staff, which determined the location and orientation of the local grid.
UTM coordinates of the local grid were taken from Moundville Mapping project, Map 92-1.   
Local datum (0R0) is at UTM 440,707.01 E, 3,651,946.24 N (zone 16).
Local grid is rotated 4.95 degrees clockwise relative to UTM grid.
